Me voilà de retour d'une belle fin de semaine au Club de l'Épagneul Français à St-Jean-de-Matha. Mon but était de terminer mes pré-requis dans le programme d'apprenti-juge pour chiens d'arrêt avec le Club Canin Canadien. Mission accomplie! L'autre but était de tester Excel au niveau FDX, même si je ne la savais pas prête. Elle l'était à moitié. Elle doit juste apprendre maintenant que le chien qui patronne (elle-même) ne doit pas aller au rapport du chien à l'arrêt. Mes amis qui m'accompagnaient ont tous atteints leurs objectifs aussi: Rubis a obtenu 2 pattes en FDJ, Boomer a obtenu 1 patte en FD et du côté de Navhda, au Club Le Polyvalent, Jules a réussi son NA, Prix II, 103/112.Quelle fierté! Il est toujours agréable de se rendre à St-Jean-de-Matha et je dis un gros merci à toute l'organisation. Ils ne peuvent contrôler cependant la température et le dimanche fut une journée difficile pour tous. Les bartavelles étaient rapidement mouillées et préféraient courir plutôt que de s'envoler.

I'm back from a very nice weekend at the Club de l'Épagneull Français in St-Jean-de-Matha. My goal was to complete my apprentice-judge program with the Canadian Kennel Club. Done! The other goal was to run Excel in FDX even if I knew she was not ready. She was half-ready. She now has to learn that the dog that backs (her) must not go for the retrieve of the pointing dog. My friends who were there also reached their goals: Rubis got 2 FDJ legs, Boomer got 1 FD leg and Jules, at the Club Le Polyvalent Navhda test got his NA, Prize II, 103/112.
I'm very proud! It is always a pleasure to attend St-Jean-de-Matha's tests and I say THANK YOU to all but they cannot choose the temperature and Sunday was a hard one. Chuckars got wet very fast and they preferred to run instead of flying.
