Chef - Club Chien Rapporteur

 Premiere sortie hier avec le Club du Chien Rapporteur du Saguenay Lac St-Jean pour Chef qui a eu beaucoup de plaisir a transporter un canard dans sa gueule.

Il a aussi effectué 3 rapports sur canard lancé en le prenant bien en gueule.

First time out with the Retrievers Club.  Chef was very excited by the ducks and carried it like a trophee.

He retrieved 3 times a thrown duck with a correct hold of it.

Des nouvelles de Storm (Ricci) au Michigan (15 weeks)

Storm is doing great she loves birds and can't wait for me to put one out for her to find. I use the command ( birds hunt em out) and when I tell her this command she will immediately start hunting for birds very fast and hard searching all over till she finds the bird, her nose is so good and she will stay steady for quite sometime. I use a remote bird launcher on her now and when I pop the bird up she will watch right where it flies and than chase it, I use pigeons because I like the way they slowly fly up and allow a young dog to get a good chance to see the bird fly this helps teach them to be able to mark a shot and fallen bird and also trains them to keep there eyes on the bird.

Storm also loves the water now and will go right in with me when I have chest waiters on she just follows me in the water. She is also a very fast swimmer, she has one speed and it is fast gear on everything she does.

Storm is very  obedient and a fast learner, she will kennel up on command, comes on command to voice or whistle, heels on leash, is quite when tied out on a lead and I am getting her meal ready, good in the car when crated up. Very nice dog and I am so happy to be her owner.

Il ventait a écorner les boeufs mais, au moins, il y avait du soleil!  Le site de la Petite Maison Blanche est un endroit idéal pour prendre de belles photos.

It was windy enough to have you fly but, at least, it was sunny!  The "Petite Maison Blanche" site is a very nice place to take pictures.

Mon pays, ce n'est pas un pays, c'est l'hiver!  Y a-t-il un autre endroit où un chien peut nager pour trouver des canards, lever une bécasse et se rouler dans la neige pour se rafraichir dans la meme heure?

My land, it is not a land, it’s winter!  Is there any other places where a dog can swim to catch ducks, run after a woodcock and lie on the snow to cool down in the same hour?

Fleche veut etre certaine qu'il n'y a rien de l'autre coté!  Fleche want to be sure there is  no ducks on the other side!

Pirate et Fleche les cherche partout.  Pirate and Fleche search for them all over the pond.

Ca sent bon!  Qu'est-ce que c'est?  Smells good!  What is it?

Pirate trouvera une bécasse sous peu!  Pirate is on a woodcock scent!

Excel - Springfield - BOW - 22 avril 2012

Suivez maintenant les péripéthies d'Excel car elle est maniée aux USA par Junior (2ième à droite sur la photo) pour compléter son championnat américain.

Les 3-4-5-6 mai, elle sera en Georgie!

Tuck - Terre-Neuve - Ice fishing - Newfoundland

We took Tuck up to the Gaff Topsails this weekend. My parents have a cabin there. It is accessed only by ski doo in the winter and truck in the summer. He enjoyed his ride on ski doo very much! We also brought along my friend and her GSP, who taught tuck to keep his nose to the ground and eventually found a bird!

Skipper and the boat

Skipper helped us launch Simon's new boat today and as you can see, Skipper was a big help!
